Harley Davidson Achillea sandal. The reviews on Zappos said these were the most comfortable sandals ever. Also, they’re leather and rubber, so I won’t sweat or slip and die when it rains. I wanted something a little nicer than flip flops to wear during my summer job (and since apparently it’s not going to get cold here), and these seemed the best out of everything I looked at. :D

Paula Deen's 10 Deadliest Recipes
You know, food shouldn’t be a competition or challenge. I’m all about eating what you like, healthy choices, being happy, etc etc, but some things really aren’t necessary. Fried butter isn’t necessary. Food is a vehicle for putting necessary nutrients into your body so your organs function.
Anyway, I feel as though Paula Deen’s rise to fame/infamy is probably a Faustian story. In exchange for bizarrely appealing (whether in taste or hilariously large amounts of butter) recipes and a cooking show, Paula Deen had to forfeit her natural insulin to Mephistopheles. I figure this is probably true because, whether or not the show is for entertainment, it is SO unethical to promote ridiculous food when you, Paula Deen, know exactly what happens when someone eats those recipes.
Not to shame others with Type II Diabetes or weight struggles. My boyfriend has both those things in his family; I’ve had my fair share of childhood obesity. However, on the flip side, I don’t have millions of viewers observing my cooking habits, nor would I consider any of those recipes edible. Fruits and vegetables are chill.
